Heavenly perspective for couples,
“Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.’” (Genesis 2:18)
Marriages would be stronger if husbands and wives realized they were made to complement each another, not compete with each other. In observing Adam’s loneliness as “not good,” God was commenting on his incompleteness. So, with Eve, God created a complementary partner for Adam. Therefore, each sex is tailor-made by God for the good of the other. So, work together in your marriage remembering, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil” (Ecclesiastes 4:9).
